# Kallpa > Kallpa Labs LLC builds quarry safety software on Claude for US sand, gravel and crushed-stone pits. The public site is a prototype seeking quarry pilot partners. Kallpa does not sell hardware. Kallpa (Quechua for strength) is meant to run on the fixed cameras a pit already has, detect mobile-equipment hazards, and turn what it sees into the written mobile-equipment safety program MSHA requires under 30 CFR 56 Subpart T. It is for the owner or safety lead of an aggregates operation with 1 to 10 pits. The website at https://kallpa.me/ shows the product as it is intended to work. Every pit view uses invented sample data. Coyote Creek Aggregates and Salt Fork Sand are not customers. There is no pilot pit on record. Prices on the site are planned placeholders: $585 per pit per month, and $495 per pit per month for 4 to 10 pits. The first pit is described as free for 30 days under that planned pricing. ## Built with Claude Kallpa is being built on Claude. Detection runs on a PC at the pit and reads the cameras already there. Claude reads the hazard records. Coming soon: - Ask your pit. Claude answers questions about reviewed hazard records and returns the blurred clips. - Draft the program update. Claude drafts the written mobile-equipment program update from those records. The responsible person at the pit still reviews and signs it. No detection rate is promised until a pilot pit measures it in dust, glare and night work. ## What the product is meant to do - Read RTSP from IP cameras the pit already owns. If a haul road has no camera, name a model. Do not sell the camera. - Flag pedestrian and light-vehicle incursions on haul roads. - Warn when a truck's wheels come closer to a berm or edge than the distance the pit sets. - Measure speed on ramps and haul roads from a calibrated camera view. - Flag loadout pinch points, such as a worker between a loader and a truck. - Keep a written program, a revision log and event records the responsible person signs. - Warn and record. Never control a machine. Faces are designed to be blurred before video leaves the site. Kallpa is designed not to identify workers. No detection rate is promised until a pilot pit has measured it in dust, glare and night work. ## Company - Legal name: Kallpa Labs LLC - Registration: Texas, United States - Founder: Duff Corben, who runs the company.
